“Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
Fear of failure can paralyze most of us.
It can kill many brilliant ideas and strategies.
It is one of the most powerful ‘negative’ emotions.
But there is also another side to fear.
Fear of failure can also ‘motivate’ us.
Bill Gates in his early years, deliberately wanted bad news given to him at the start of the day.
He uses the bad news (i.e. what his competition was doing) as his motivation to drive Microsoft to where it is today.
The lesson here is NOT to focus on fear.
But to use FEAR as a motivating factor to move forward.
Living in constant fear of:
– Not being able to make enough money
– Not being able make payroll
– Not being able to grow your business
– Not knowing what the future holds
… is not the best way to live.
Use fear as your launch pad to move forward.
More importantly, you don’t have to deal with it alone.
