“Say no to everything, so you can say yes to the one thing.” ― Richie Norton
Learning say NO, is part of your client attraction process.
If the prospect does not fit your profile and did not see your ‘value bridge’ as benefit to them, then they are not likely to be your ideal client.
Then how do you say NO to a prospect who is not ideal.
The best way I have found is to model George Louis Costanza from the TV series Seinfeld.
“It’s not you, it’s me”.
When George has to let go of a girl friend, he uses “It’s not you, it’s me” to gently let her down.
It works very well with prospects who are not an ideal match.
If you are not familiar with George in Seinfeld here is one of his “It’s not you, it’s me” routine (reversed).
