“Anything that does not belong where it is, the way it is, is an “open loop” pulling on your attention.”
David Allen
I use to think I must manage my time wisely.
My understanding was that time is there to be ‘used’.
Now I look at it differently.
All of us have 24 hours in a day, whether we use it or not.
Instead, I see time using ‘me’.
When I look at time that way, it focuses me to look at my priorities.
When I look at my priorities I realise I have too many.
Too many priorities mean, I have NO priorities.
This then allows me to whittle it down (priorities) to a few.
Now it becomes easier to focus on few priorities.
Lesson?
Time will always pass you by, irrespective of what you do.
Make a deliberate decision to use time to your advantage.
