Most will leave.
Because they have no reason to stay.

There is enough news in the world bombarding you and why would you need more?
Same goes for your website visitors.
They have no interest in signing up to get updates about your business.
Your visitors are there to find solutions to their problems.
Instead of a ‘newsletter’, offer them a ‘solution’
Say you are an IT company.
Visitors come to your website to see whether they find answers to their computer problems.
Which one of these options are they most likely to sign up to:
