What are you really selling?

Please take a look at the 3 examples below… you will understand my question better!

1.    HARLEY DAVIDSON: They sell an Experience – "Rebel Lifestyle"
"What we sell is the ability for a 43-year-old accountant to dress in black leather, ride through small towns and have people be afraid of him"

2.    STARBUCKS: They sell an experience- "Relax away from home and work in a lounge"
You can getaway from everything and ‘chill-out

3.    REVLON: They sell "Hope."
Charles Revson, founder of Revlon, is famously quoted as saying "In our factory we make cosmetics. In the store we sell hope".

4.    YOUR BUSINESS: ……………… (Simply fill in the blanks)
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

Harley Davidson do not market motor bikes. Their success comes from marketing the "experience". Check this out !
