Recently I took my son to see “Walking with the dinosaur”- Live version of the popular BBC TV programme.
It was an amazing and a spell bounding event.
We both thoroughly enjoyed it. The look on my son’s face (4 years old) when a gigantic t-rex appeared was priceless.
What amazed me most was how in a “slow economy” the O2 arena was packed. (and I understand most of shows are sold out)
Their marketing (as we know it..) was minimal.
So how did they manage to do it ?
They have a ‘Remarkable’ product (Remarkable…meaning something worth talking about…See video below for an excellent explanation)
The news about these live event were spread through word of mouth… (one parent talking to another….)
Here are more examples of businesses, which became well known by simply being remarkable to its target audiance.
1. star bucks
2. odd socks
3. Krispy Kreme
