Entrepreneurs of the future showed their marketing and design skills when Sebert Wood Primary School, in Bury, held a mini enterprise event.Children in Year 4 created their own design companies, produced designs and made goods which included bookmarks, coasters, birthday cards and puzzles.
The children then set up their own stands and gave presentations to parents who were invited to buy the products. This raised £80 for the charity Clic Sargent.
Jo Plumb, Year 4 leader, said: “The children were very creative and loved the idea. They were so enthusiastic about their company. The idea really grabbed their imagination and engaged them, and I think the parents were very impressed.”
