What to do next (when progress seems impossible)

by on 08/08/2014

Success Coach Essex “The one thing all famous authors, world class athletes, business tycoons, singers, actors, and celebrated achievers in any field have in common is that they all began their journeys when they were none of these things. Yet still, they began their journeys”― Mike Dooley

The King of procrastination is visiting you.

The Queen of distractions is teasing you.

The Prince of limiting belief is dragging you back.

You feel stuck.

You feel progress is impossible.

You cannot see how you can get from here to there.

What do you do?

First, it is important to realise that this is NORMAL.

Before taking a single step, 29029 feet mountain will feel daunting.

Everyone who climbed Mount Everest started at the bottom.

Even if you get half way, there is another 15,000 ft to go!

Every successful person has to go through this.

You are not alone.

So how ever small or insignificant, take the next step.

Wherever you are, it is never too late to take the next step.

  • Colonel Sanders was 65 when he started Kentucky Fried Chicken.
  • Laura Ingalls Wilder was 65 when she began writing her beloved Little House on the Prairie series.
  • Ray Kroc opened a hamburger stand – age 52 – when most people his age were retiring.
  • Henry Ford was 60 years old when he created the first car assembly line.
  • Golda Meir became the fourth prime minister of Israel when she was 70.

Move forward and keep the momentum going – is worth it.
